Colorful Colorado: Outfits.
Better to Over-pack than Under.
The one and hopefully the only reason why my family hates traveling with me is the fact that I over-pack way too much. But can you blame me? If you are anything like me, you are constantly changing your mind on things - especially when it comes to clothes. I have the tendency to plan out what I want to wear the night before to allow myself more time to get ready in the morning but sometimes I don't feel like wearing the outfits I plan or they don't end up looking as cute as I thought they would be in my head. Luckily I have the luxury of being able to swap out a top or some jeans being at home, but if you're traveling that luxury doesn't always come about.
When it comes to packing for travels, I always give myself options based on my location and do my research on the weather for the days I'll be there. Depending on where you go and what you do, give yourself at least two alternative outfits in opposition to your main one: a substitute top or bottom and an outfit that you're more comfortable with, whether you've worn before or is your go-to. That way you are always allowing yourself options and variety.
And believe me, it is always better to be safe than sorry with choices due to overpacking.
